Will it work with our phones?
Yes, with Android phones and tablets. Install the app from Google Play, connect the card reader or the tachograph cable and you are ready.
Will it work with our tachographs?
Yes. myTacho works with all digital tachographs, whatever the brand, from the first digital models to the latest Smart Tachograph 2.
How often do we have to download?
Driver cards at least every 28 days and the vehicle unit at least every 90 days (Regulation (EU) 581/2010). myTacho reminds you 7, 3 and 1 day before each deadline.
Can several people use one kit?
Yes. The fleet manager, office staff and drivers can all download with the same licensed phone, for as many driver cards and vehicles as you have.
Do we need TAHOPRO or other software?
No. myTacho gives you the legally required DDD files, which you can send by email to any analysis software. If you use TAHOPRO, we connect your myTacho app to your account for you and the files go straight in, ready for reports.
What happens to the files if we change phones?
Files are stored inside the app, so send them by email or to TAHOPRO after each download. When you change phones, email info@mytachoapp.com and we activate myTacho on the new one.
Is there a subscription?
No. You pay €259 incl. VAT once. The licence never expires and there is no fee per driver, vehicle or download.
