How to download tachograph driver card data
- Connect the card reader. Plug the myTacho card reader into your phone.
- Insert the driver card. Insert the driver card into the reader. The app starts the download automatically, and the driver card DDD file is ready in under a minute.

How often do I need to download the driver card?
At least every 28 days, according to Regulation (EU) 581/2010. The vehicle unit has a longer deadline: every 90 days.

Does the driver have to be in the vehicle?
No. Driver cards can be downloaded anywhere: at the office, at home or on the road. Only the vehicle unit download needs a connection to the tachograph.
Who can download the card?
Anyone with the company device: the driver, the fleet manager or office staff. One app licence covers one Android phone or tablet, and several people can use it.
What file do I get?
A DDD file. It contains the driver's activities and the other data stored on the card. Store it securely and analyse it with tachograph software such as TAHOPRO.
