How to Change Time on a Digital Tachograph

When the time changes from winter time to summer time and the other way round, drivers need to change the  time on tachograph manually. 

The reason for this is that the tachograph does not automatically synchronize with local time, so the driver is responsible for updating it manually.

Also, it is important to know that tachograph time change is different depending on the type of tachograph.

  1. Press OK.

  2. Use the down arrow until you reach “Vehicle entry”.

  3. Confirm the selection by pressing OK.

  4. Then use the down arrow again until “Local time” appears.

  5. Confirm the selection by pressing OK.

  6. Change the time.

  7. Press OK.

  8. The tachograph time change is saved.

 

How To Change The Time On Stoneridge Tachograph - step by step

 

  1. Press OK.

  2. Use the down arrow until you reach “Settings.”

  3. Confirm the selection by pressing OK.

  4. Then use the down arrow again until “Local time” appears.

  5. Confirm the selection by pressing OK.

  6. Change the time.

  7. Press OK.

  8. The tachograph time change is saved.

This happens twice a year when the clocks change:

1. On the last Sunday in March, the time moves one hour forward for British Summer Time (BST).
2. On the last Sunday in October, the time moves one hour back to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
